Dissemination in Spain: Presenting to the public the Digital tools eBook

In the framework of the project eSkills for Volunteers, on 14th of June 2018, the President of Asociación Projuven, Mr. Francesco Ruberto, presented the “Digital Tools for the Management of Volunteers eBook” to a group of youth workers in Malaga, Spain. The eBook aims to give a clear overview on the current challenges and opportunities as well as to share best practices in the field from Italy, Portugal, Romania and Spain.

During the event all the four chapters of the eBook were discussed and particular attention was given to the various aspects related to the way NGOs are using digital tools to manage volunteers, how they empower youth workers and volunteers to raise their e-skills, what are the preferred instruments in different communities and, based on these, how can be formulated recommendations towards various stakeholders. The eBook is available in English but also in Spanish, Romanian, Portuguese and Italian language.

The dissemination event ended up with a presentation of “The Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition” of European Commission which brings together Member States, companies, social partners, non-profit organisations and education providers, who take action to tackle the lack of digital skills in Europe. Moreover, the Erasmus plus programme and all its opportunities for international mobility for young people were presented to the audience.

7 things you won’t learn in school about clients & marketing

Youth unemployment continues to be the true social emergency of our country. Especially in the South, young people, although they do not lack preparation, find it difficult to apply and use all their skills in different markets. Discouraged and disappointed, they leave their homeland to live where their merit is rewarded and valued.

On 11th-12th of May, we have organized a dissemination session of “eSkills for Volunteers” in the frame of “Ready to START wake up” – start-up competition.

Our colleague, Gabriel Brezoiu disseminated the project results and started a debate on how the digital tools can improve the work of our organisations.
