Tell us about the “eSkills for Volunteers” training experience.
For me it was a very enriching experience that can be useful for any kind of volunteers, I learned very important things and tools I can use as a single volunteer or as a volunteer from an association.
What is the most important thing you have learned during the training?
I think the most important thing I have learned would be the fact that you have to make yourself and your actions visible, so more people know what your mission is, how you are improving society and the way to do it is through social media, websites and blogs to reach a wider range of people and keep them updated regularly.
In your opinion, why digital skills are important for youth workers/volunteers?
Digital skills are a mandatory field for recruitment and dissemination of the projects, it doesn’t matter if you’re a youth worker or a volunteer. It is important to manage the way people communicate nowadays and to know how to establish contacts and how to spread the word about your work.
