Tell us about the “eSkills for Volunteers” training experience.

During the project “eSkills for Volunteers” that took part in the end of June in Torremolinos I managed to both share and learn useful tips about digital field and social media platforms. I found the presentations extremely helpful for my future projects and in addition of the information that I shared with the others participants during the training sessions and workshops, I also create strong connections with other participants from different countries.

What is the most important thing you have learned during the training?

The most important thing that I learned during the training is how to combine my photography skills with photo editing to get the best results on social media. Besides this, I practiced my public speaking skills and I learned more about the culture of the others countries that were represented in the training course.

In your opinion, why digital skills are important for youth workers/volunteers?

Digital world is more and more present in our personal and professional life through a lot of gadgets, applications and tools that we use to simplify our life. When we speak about youth workers or volunteers that work in an NGO, in my opinion, having strong digital skills can help you improve the quality of your work, can be useful for promoting your cause and also can facilitate the communication between the organization and the members.
